People's Rights Front ( P.R.F.) has demanded a dress code for girls and women to prevent incidents of rape in the capital and other parts of the country. In a reference to the July 10 molestation incident in Guwahati.
People's Rights Front ( P.R.F ) - President Abhimanyu Gulati wrote on his blog today, and said in a press statement that modern and provocative dresses were responsible for the rise in such incidents and demanded that women should wear more decent attires.

Gulati also appealed to fashion designers to design clothes in accordance with Indian social norms and values.
Strongly supporting the demand for capital punishment against rape accused, Abhimanyu Gulati said the central government should introduce a bill in Parliament to make stringent laws against rape and sexual harassment of women.
''If these cases are to be brought under control, we need stringent laws,'' he said.
