A former Shiv Sena leader today slammed Sena chief Balasahib Thackeray for his latest outburst against Biharis and charged him with undoing the unification efforts of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. Former vice-president of Shiv Sena, Delhi, Abhimanyu Gulati said if Bal Thackeray refuses to end his anti-north Indian triade, then ''like minded'' people may join hands under a new banner to retaliate. ''Sardar Patel took efforts to convert princely states into a united India. But now these leaders were trying to undo his efforts,'' he alleged. Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray's remarks against Biharis were published today in the editorial of party's mouthpiece ''Saamna''. A report from Mumbai said the police was taking legal opinion on the issue, after which appropriate steps would be taken.

People's Rights Front ( P.R.F.) has demanded a dress code for girls and women to prevent incidents of rape in the capital and other parts of the country. People's Rights Front ( P.R.F ) - President Abhimanyu Gulati  wrote on his blog today, and said in a press statement that modern and provocative dresses were responsible for the rise in such incidents and demanded that women should wear more decent attires. He demanded that the central and state governments should introduce a proper dress code for girls in schools, colleges and other educational institutions. Gulati also appealed to fashion designers to design clothes in accordance with Indian social norms and values. Strongly supporting the demand for capital punishment against rape accused, Abhimanyu Gulati  said the central government should introduce a bill in Parliament to make stringent laws against rape and sexual harassment of women. नई दिल्ली : 14 अक्टूबर पीपुल्स राइट्स फ्रंट (P.R.F.) के प्रमुख अभिमन्यु गुलाटी ने भ्रष्टाचार से लड़ रही टीम "अन्ना"के प्रमुख सदस्य और जाने-माने वकील श्री प्रशांत भूषण द्वारा वाराणसी में अभी हाल ही में कश्मीर मामले पर दिए गए उनके बयान   कि   कश्मीर में जनमत संग्रह करवाया जाए, और यदि वहां के लोग भारत की प्रभुसत्ता को स्वीकार नही करते और भारत से अलग होना चाहते हैं तो जम्मू-कश्मीर को देश से अलग कर आज़ाद कर दिया जाए दिया जाए ! प्रशांत भूषण के उक्त बयान पर अपनी तीखी प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त करते हुए उनके इस बयान को राष्ट्रद्रोह करार दिया है! गुलाटी ने प्रशांत भूषण के खिलाफ दिल्ली पुलिस के जिल्ला उत्तर-पूर्वी के अंतर्गत आने वाले थाना मानसरोवर पार्क में कल देर शाम एक शिकायत DD संख्या 51 B दर्ज करते हुए उनके कश्मीर पर दिए बयान को राष्ट्रद्रोह बताया है,और पुलिस से इस विषय की गंभीरता को देखते हुए प्राथमिकी FIR दर्ज करने की मांग की है! गुलाटी ने कहा कि कश्मीर भारत का अभिन्नंग है ,और इस मामले पर किसी को भी अपने तुछ स्वार्थ साधने की खातिर इस तरह के राष्ट्रविरोधी बयान देने का अधिकार नही है
